Bookworm

Mommy’s favorite bookworm:

Becca loves to read.  She’ll sit there forever it seems like, as long as she’s able to look at the pictures.  We try to read everyday.  Because she’s a genius and all.  (It doesn’t hurt that mom used to work in a kids’ library and was a bookworm herself, either.)

And a quick snuggle shot:

love the picture of her in the chair! that is so cute. :)

Richard Scarry books were always some of John’s favs.

She has the best name – like mine hehe! She is beautiful, you must be so proud! X.

I love Lowly Worm! I had all the Richard Scarry books when I was little. I even had a Lowly doll :)
Keep reading, Becca!

woohoo for Richard Scarry! oh, Nancy & John, as a kid who was read to from day 1, keep up the family reading time until she storms out in protest. then try again a few days later! i loved it and it was one of the best gifts my parents could give me!

Just How Itty Is Itty Bitty?

Becca was born three months early, weighing only 13 ounces and measuring only 9.5 inches long, after a 7-month prenatal struggle. She is the smallest baby ever to survive in Tennessee, and one of the smallest in the world. And she's definitely the cutest. Technically too small at birth to be viable, today she is a healthy - and very happy - little girl. We still have some challenges and lots of doctor's appointment, but Itty Bitty is a lot of Big Honkin' Fiesty Fun. Enjoy peeking in at our life with Itty Bitty Big Girl Becca!
